How do I get started?
How quickly can I start selling?
You can set up and practise the same afternoon. Pick your kind of shop and Klyvelo suggests the usual items: check the prices, and sell. Real sales start once we've checked your business documents, usually within a working day.
What do I need?
On the PC at the counter. A receipt printer and a cash drawer are nice to have, not a must.
Will someone help me set up?
Yes. Email [email protected] and a real person will walk you through it.
Can I move over from my current system?
Can I bring my products with me?
Yes. Put them in a spreadsheet and import them in one go, prices and stock included. Then they sell, count and run low in stock and reports.
What about my regulars?
Add them as you go. They scan a code at the counter and start earning on their next sale.
Does it work with my card machine?
Do I need a new card machine?
No. Keep the machine you have. Ring it up, they tap, and the sale is marked paid.
What else can customers pay with?
Cash, card, QR, an EFT link or vouchers. Or two of them on one sale.
Does it work offline and in load-shedding?
What if the internet goes down?
Keep selling. Sales and points carry on, and everything catches up when the line is back. More on the point of sale page.
And when the power goes?
It runs as long as your device does. On a battery, a UPS or an inverter you carry on, and no finished sale is lost.
Who owns my data?
Is my data mine?
Yes. Your sales, stock and customers belong to you, and you can download them as a spreadsheet.
Who else can see it?
Only you and the staff you let in. When Klyvelo support helps you, they can see your account, and every look is written down where you can see it.
How much does Klyvelo cost?
How much does it cost?
There's a Free plan, and paid plans from R 299 a month per store. Same price in a busy month as a quiet one. See the plans.
Is there a contract?
No. Pay monthly, or yearly and save 20%. Stop whenever you like: your shop moves to Free, keeps selling, and your customers keep their points.
Can I try it first?
Yes. Start on Free: no card, no end date. Upgrade when the shop needs more, and you pay from that day.
What does Free leave out?
Vouchers and connected apps: Xero comes with Growth. Free keeps selling, points on every sale and a week of reports, for one device.
Can I change plans?
Any time. Bigger starts now and you pay only the difference for the days left. Smaller starts on your next billing date. Nothing is lost either way.
I have more than one shop.
Every paid plan takes as many stores as you like, each at that plan's price. On Pro the first store is R 999 and each one after it R 499.
Does it work with my accountant?
On Growth and Pro, Xero gets each day by itself every night. A download for Sage, too.
How do points work?
Do cash customers earn points?
Yes. Every sale earns, however they pay. How loyalty works.
How do customers join?
They scan a code at your counter and sign up on their own phone. It takes seconds.
What are the points worth?
You decide. For example, 1 000 points for R 10 off.
Can they spend their points?
Yes. Points come off the next sale, at the value you set.
